That’s Hot!

Move over Paris! Now I can say it too! I’ve been wanting one of these single-serve coffee machines for awhile now. I buckled the other day and I got one! No more making a full pot of coffee that I barely drink half the pot, no more messing with stupid stupid coffee filters, and my most favorite … less mess. I feel like angels should suddenly appear and start to play harps. My Keurig came with free K-cups to try all these different flavors of coffee, tea, and hot cocoa. Not to mention a converter cup that allows me to continue to brew the Maxwell House/Folgers I already have. *High Five* The only quirk to the machine I’ve notice so far is that when the water heats up the motor kicks in and it sounds like a crop duster firing up the engine. The sound doesn’t last very long at all. I can live with that. This afternoon I found Marshmallow Mocha Intl Coffee Creamer (Cris, it’s all your fault… I bought 2… lol) at the grocery store and as soon as I got home I just had to have a cup of coffee. So unnatural of me to have so much caffeine in 1 day. Can you say…. buzzzz! lol.
I’m done knitting the Booga, btw. Now I have to do a Yarn Tail’s magic trick to make the handles to it. But not tonight, I have homework to type out, go over, and go over again tommorrow before sending it in. But definately will be crankin’ by tommorrow evening.
Suppose to be a warm day tommorrow. 75 degrees. It feels weirdly saying 75 degrees, but after all that freakin’ flakeness we all went through, it’s about daggum time for sunshine and warmer weather.
Any history buffs in the audience? Well, a friend of mine - also a knitter - found a diary at a yard sale awhile back. She’s decided to turn the diary into a blog. The writer of the diary is 18 years old back in 1928 and grew up in the area where we are. My friend occasionally will throw in points of references as links to what she finds on the internet. I think it is kinda neat. Have a look here for yourself.

they have those little coffe makers here as well and theres been a few times near christmas and birthdays that weve talked about getting one but in the end we talk ourselves out of it saying we just dont need MORE stuff sitting on the counter! You are so lucky having flavored creams there all you get here is milk.. im used to it now but I do miss my hazlenut creamer! Cant wait to see your finished booga bag all felted and ready to use!
Awesome! That looks really cool.
OO! I want one of those coffee makers but The Daddy doesn’t see the benefits of making single cups yet. I guess he’s stuck on the bulk pound of coffee…so I use the 4 cup maker for now. Yours is HOT!
Actually, I think this takes up less space than my old 10-cup Mr. Coffee. Mr. Coffee served me well all those years, but I am definately loving the ease and efficiency of this baby.
“pluck pluck” went the harp!
Thanks for the birthday wishes!!!
Don’t drink coffee, but my husband does, and I’ve been trying to talk him into getting one of these.
75˚F? We have had 80˚F plus for so long…it’s edging toward 90˚F! But this is Texas.
Love the diary blog. I should do that with my mother’s diary. She would have been 98 today.
I love your new toy!
Thank you…. it’s fabulous!
