7 Things About Me You May Already NOT Know

1. I love animals.  Cats, Dogs (somebody gots a new puppy… see here), rabbits, horses, squirrels, guinea pigs, you name it.  I cry over animals more than people.  Sad, maybe, but it’s true.   Speaking of which, THIS THURSDAY APRIL 10TH  WEAR ORANGE!  Any kind of orange it can be a shirt, a pair of pants, a hair barette, a ribbon… just wear something orange and support the millions of animals throughout the world because on Thursday its ASPCA Day.  If you’re reading this now and you’re already dressed–nothing orange on? and still at home … you’ve got time to change into something orange.  And if you’re reading this now and not at home, go back home and change into something orange.  Your boss will understand and if they don’t change jobs.  Seriously don’t do that. I would settle for the word “orange” written on a piece of paper, taped to your shirt.  If they ask, just say I’m wearing orange today.
2. I gamble (very) conservatively.  I play the lottery now and then, especially when the jackpot is high. But get me in a casino, WATCH OUT!   I make a bee-line for the nickle slots.  Sometimes 25 cent slots but only if I feel like living dangerously once in a blue moon. 
3. I eat popcorn on a daily basis.  Freakish, I know.  There’s just something about popped corn that is just too irresistible for me.  Maybe the butter, although lately I’ve had a craving for Mr. Orville Redenbacker’s Kettle Corn.  If the man was still alive, I’d have to hug him.
4. I like to plan ahead on almost everything I do.  I can be spontaneous, but for some reason that doesn’t thrill me as much as planning something.  Go figure that one out.
5. I like to be organized, although at times, you can hardly notice it.  I do, however, have to have my keys, eyeglasses in one particular spot every day/night or else I’ll forget where I put them.  To me that is organized.  If anything but that, it would be disaster.
6. I must be the only one in a handful of a few.  I use my right-left turn signals in my car.   I thought everyone used them whether you had a new car, like-new car, older car, or the classic.  Silly me, didn’t know there was a choice — to use or not to use.  I’ll stick to “use”, ’cause I like to be a safe driver that way.
7. Blogging is good for me, and you too I suspect.  Who in their bird brain said blogging was bad for you?!  Did ya’ll catch that article on Yahoo the other day.   I’ve met some wonderful friends via blogs that I wouldn’t have known about otherwise.  I enjoy reading them.  I try to comment on all of them.  But, most of all I learn, I laugh, I cry, I sigh, I aww, I share, I enjoy.  So keep on bloggin’!
