TGIF! Ok, so I’m not on the sea shore picking up seashells, but I have been making shell squares for our K&H group charity challenge. I crocheted some other purpley squares in the background there, but these red ones are sure purr-ty. You’re sitting there thinking…. Red Hat colors…. true, but it was not intentional. Just trying to use up some stash, so it just so happened to be the colors I had.
Ugh…. the ice storm is coming….. ahhhhhh! I hope we do not get it as bad as they say. It’s midnight right now, so I can say what the morning will bring is a mystery at this point.
Oh yes…. sooooo close to finishing the Pillars book. Two chaps to go. I saw the sequel at Borders today, but did not pick it up. The sequel is just as long as Pillars. And I need something less long. So in browsing the bargain books I found Mrs Dalloway by Virginia Woolf for $1.99 PB. Not sure if I will read that next, we’ll see.
Well faithful readers it is time for me to bid goodnight. The cat is in my left ear, tapping my left shoulder, and whimping about something.

I’m reading Pillars right now. Jim bought it for me because he said I would love it and I had just helped him cut a bunch of wood. I’m good about stuff like that and not afraid to get dirty. Anyway, I’m not far into it but I adore it so far.
Love the shells square.
those are looking good! I hope the ice stays away from you guys.. I just hope the snow comes down to us and says hello up north they are going to be getting hammered! YIKES!
Beautiful squares. I love crocheting shells!
As for the ice, we didn’t get it. All rain. Hope you’re as lucky. We might get snow as the temps drop, but that didn’t change the fact the kids were hoping for at least a 2 hour delay…
Have an osm day!
Pretty-pretty red shells! It looks great with the purple to those of us in the Red Hat Society!
