Hip! Hip! Hooray! Mr. Postman brought a special delivery today… my winner copy of the new Kitty Knits Projects for Cats and their People by Donna Druchunas! I could not wait to tear into the postal envelope and look through the book! Holy Moly … the book is fabulous!!! Each page…… I said an outloud….. “Oooooh….Ahhhh….Awhhhhh!” Although I cannot possible snap the whole book, I did snap a pic of the fuzzy kitty slippas. Ain’t they cute??!! And she signed it for me!! Yay!! I have to send her a formal “thank you”.
Voila! I finito’d my Warm Winter Ribbed hat in purpley purple last night while watching Mansfield Park on PBS. The yarn is super thick…. as you can tell… because my hat sits up all by itself. No stiffening required. LOL. It’s very warm too as you might of also guessed. I love it. I did start a ribbed matching scarf as well to finish out the rest of the yarn I have.
I am in the middle of lunch break right now (from the studies). Today’s blue plate dish: BBQ Chip Chop Sammie, Doritos, and DC. The BBQ CC Sammies are super easy to fix and would be great to make and take to your Super Bowl parties.
