HooRah! HooRay! Yippee! Yahoo! Woo Hoo! Praise the Lord! Halleujah! It’s D-O-N-E! It’s Finished! The monsterous afghan is done. I tried to take a picture but it’s like so huge. But MAN am I doing the I’m so happy dance!! Thank God, I’m done! I so hope the person it’s intended for likes it. So therefore, I must show you another one of my WIPs! Ta Da!
I may of mentioned this one before. It’s a Smoke Ring (free pattern found Here). Eee gads, you might ask… what the H-E double hockey sticks is that?? Well they call it that, but in lamens terms it’s like a hoodie for ya head! I found the pattern on Ravelry. And I might add….. I shutter to think now where I would be without Ravelry. The brain kids of such a great idea are just genius… I tell you. And if you are a knitter, crocheter and you have not heard of such animal… called Ravelry…. come out come out from under your ROCK and join us…. go Here! You will not be sorry in the least bit. Moving forward: This yarn I’m working with I had laying around. As you can tell from the pattern’s web page, the gal used a yarn with colors, but since I had LB’s Woolease in Sport weight in this heathery rouge color, lying around, I thought I would give it a go. And ya know, it really works. The color is great and you can still see somewhat of a pattern happening there. I’m really pleased with the pattern as well, because it’s easy to knit. The final test will be when I go to try it on. (?).
It was a gorgeous sunny day here even though it’s cold and that wind is still whippin’ around. Tonight for din din are leftovers and I can’t forget to watch Greys. Shameful, I somehow missed last week. Can’t for the life of me remember why!
The mind is slowly going……
p.s. Thanks for the comments on my new digs here. I lost my recipe corner for now. Perhaps it will return after the holidays.
