Can that be right? 51 days and counting? Not gonna say “Time flies”.. too cliche.
Oh the wreath. Yeah, well that’s a little craft project I’ve been working on lately. Actually not the wreath because that came preassembled. It’s what’s holding the wreath… that’s what I’ve been up to. So sad, too bad I can’t really reveal what the rest of the picture looks like because for 1.) it’s not completely finished yet, although it looks kinda cute already and 2.) it is actually a gift. In fact it may be more than 1 gift. It was that easy breezy. I’m also in progress on one of these and socks as usual.
Still sore from yesterday raking leaves to the curb for pickup on Tues. I’m growing a little concerned that our city is only giving us 1 more leaf pick up because some trees around here are still green and the leaves are barely turning colors before they dry up and fall. I do not have a tree in my back yard but the neighbor does and hers is still green. Naturally when her leaves begin to fall, they fall all in my b-yard. Ugh!
Went to Joanns yesterday on a whim. Saw the new Debbie Mumm yarn in person. Seriously, I do not get a warm and fuzzy feeling from it. It’s kinda soft … I don’t know… it just did not jump into my shopping cart like some of the other yarns naturally do. I did, though, pick up some shades in blue of Vanna’s yarn. Our knit & hook group is embarking on a charity challenge for Warm Up America for the next couple of months.
I guess tonight’s the night to set the clocks back. I’ve got one of those smart clocks that I purchased a few years ago… ya know before the Pres of Big Floppin Ideas changed the rules. So last weekend my smart clock was not so smart… but it was because it did what it was suppose to do but apparently not last weekend but this weekend. So don’t forget to change yours and your smoke detector batteries.
Congrats to the cat! He is celebrating his 1 year blogiversary on Catster.com. They even gave him a cake. He takes after his mother. The frosting is the best part.
Ok so my public announcement duties are complete. Need to go and count some sheep. Zzzzzzzz
P.s. Yep, we’re still in search of that ”needle in a haystack” discontinued yarn. If you haven’t heard, read the post below. Thanks!
