Big As Ya Head

Yip Yip! The hat is done. (No my eyes are normally not so “weirdo lookin’. Ugh, it was difficult to get a good picture. I’m turning my head while looking in the mirror at the view screen to hopefully get the shot. I think I’ve got whiplash now… Oye!). I finished it last night while watching Desperate Housewives. I knitted the pattern as directed just to see if I could do it. The hat is about 1-2 inches too big (notice the big brim and it practically covering my eyeballs). Shocker! I always thought I had a biggin. Oh well, next time I’ll shave the inches off and then it should be just fine. The yarn I used was Patons SWS in Moss…. the wool/soy combo is fabulous to work with. I have more in Natural Earth, but now I’m thinking I need more colors *sigh*.
Notice anything different? Either I am blind as a bat or WordPress made some new improvements … like adding color and a whole bunch of new toolbar clicky buttons. I’m liking it! Kudos to the WordPress people!
The Browns won on Sunday!!! WOO HOO! It’s like I’m watching a whole different new team. They have been playing really (knock wood) good lately. It’s like night and day people. WAY TO GO !!! and Go get ‘em Indians!!
Sorry to cut it short. Gottta scoot… more homework to tackle before DWTS tonight! GO MARIE ! GO ALBERT!

Woo Hoo Albert!!
Wow! You finished the hat already? It looks great! Very cozy.
49ers lost. Sigh.
Great job on the hat!!! When I do the pattern I still get a little space between my knit stitch and purl stitch…I think my gauge is off but the one I made Kenny you can barely tell. Yours looks great!!
Both my teams won… Go Bulls and Bucs!!!
The hat looks great.
I love the hat!! You did a great job on it!!!
Thanks everyone!
Pretty hat! I love the color. My Dad always wears his hats a little to big, but he just doesnt’ pull the cap all the way down, he leaves the top part all puffy and its usualy dented on one side. What can I say, My Father is a dork.
Great hat!!! What pattern did you use?
Love the hat, Andi! Very pretty! Congratulations!
