Holiday in the Bathroom

My brother did a wonderful job on the bathroom this weekend. New tile floor, new cabinet, new mirror, new lights (a little bright right now, need lower watt bulbs) new trim and new paint. The bathroom is the size of a matchbox so it was kinda hard getting everything into one picture shot. I’m glad it’s done. It needed it done ! There’s lots more to accomplish, but all in good time.
While he worked on the inside of the house, I was on the outside planting flowers, tomato plants and feeding the squirrels. The squirrels received an unexpected dinner guest and wound up chasing the little bugger around the front yard because this chipmunk was in the mood to steal their grub. I can’t believe how close this chipmunk actually got to me while I was trying to snap the pictures (see below). Anyhow, after the peanuts were gone, I went back inside and made some very yummy, a billion calories each…. Hollywood Squares. When I was in grade school my favorite lunch was macaroni -n-cheese, green beans, cornbread, chocolate milk and these Hollywood Squares for dessert. Somewhat resembles a Reeses Peanut Butter cup, but these are oh so good!

them cute little animals looked to be having fun chasing one another round the yard working off the calories of the peanuts they did managae to steal from one another….. AHAHA
Do you think I could borrow your brother to come and do mine. Hubby tried doing it a few years ago, but now it looks like a bomb went off in there! LOL
Just love the little wildlife in our yard too! They are so much fun sometimes.

I’m having similar “wildlife” wars in my yard - it’s chipmunk vs. squirrel in a battle to eat all of my flowers before my dog can get at them.

Tell your brother that he is a genius! Look how beautiful and neat it looks! Very nice! Good idea of you to cook for him, he deserved those Hollywood squares!
