When will it snow?

Now that’s a crazy question!  I don’t know about the rest of you all, but today in Ohio it is sunny but bearably cold outside.   To me it feels like October and not almost January.  Makes me feel .. a little “out of sorts”.

Anyways, I see many of my knitting and crochet friends sharing their cross stitches of which I might add are quite lovely.  I found alot of my cross stitch books and cross stitch kits while cleaning out for a garage sale this summer, and I too have an itchin’ to get stitchin’ again.  So add this to my “list” for 2007.   This is a snowman sweatshirt I made several years ago.  I wear it “carefully” only a couple of times a year.   It was done with waste canvas which surprisingly I found simple to use.  The pattern called for cross stitching the white snowflakes on and a pom pom on his hat, but I took it up a notch and added some really cool snowflake buttons I found, different sized pearl beads, and hot glued a sparkly fuzz ball to his hat.    It turned out really cute, I think.

Today, I think a trip to the craft store is in order.  I have been working on knitting/crocheting some sachets and I need to find little bag inserts to put inside them so I am able to place good smelly stuff inside.   I’ll show pictures when they are all done.   Have a good Saturday everyone!
